Today's post started out as a simple
hômage to the
Most Interesting Man In The World meme but soon became a reflection on the
rôle of facial hair in modern politics. Think for a moment, how many current politicians with beards do you know? The only members of Congress Suciô could name with
any facial hair are
Henry Waxman and
Charlie Rangel. Even in the past, when mustaches and beards were far more fashionable, candidates had to sacrifice the fungus to get elected.
Hitler before his Brazilian: would you vote for this man?
So, if there are no bearded politicians, how about a bearded political appointee? Which brings us to Ben Bernanke - the Chairman of the Federal Reserve and possibly
The Most Boring Man in the World.
Boring Ben Bernanke.
Haha I lol'd so much !
ReplyDeleteHehe , the most boring man in the world
ReplyDeleteyour post today is amaizing! i like it!

ReplyDeleteHaha, I just got into the foreign exchange market. Saving that Ben Bernanke image because that's the smug face I make when I bet against the USD.
ReplyDeletegood post...
ReplyDeleteImage advisors argue that if you wear a beard, people think you are trying to hide something, which seems like a silly argument. It's the guys that shave everyday who are trying to hide something. They are trying to hide the fact that they have hair on their face.
ReplyDeleteI really wish politicians would start rocking some facial hair again. Carter had sideburns but that didn't turn out so well.
ReplyDelete@ Unablogger - Suciô is out loud and proud. (In an entirely heterosexual way.)
ReplyDeleteHmm i think facial hair was part of the fashion and used to make a statement. The evolution of society made facial hair so scarce
ReplyDeletegreat story... :p
ReplyDeleteLol, I think we should have a contest for the most boring man in the world.
ReplyDeleteWE just need a bearded president in the US.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! The meme's are hilarious! Keep it coming!

ReplyDelete>I really wish politicians would start rocking some facial hair again.
ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look like Hitler... but I looked it up and it is Hitler from 1914.
ReplyDeleteaside: you don't list a contact or email on your profile. I am really interested in learning how you are able to embed links, photos, etc., onto other comment pages. Email me through my contact page, or post a tutorial for all to see on your home page. I'm sure a lot of others would like to learn the technique as well.
